POOL WILL BE OPEN FOR JULY 4th WEEKEND APRIL 25-27 –Clean up weekend. Get a jump start on the season, a free week end offered to seasonal who have paid their 2008 deposits. Start your spring cleaning before season opening of May1. MAY MAY 1st CAMPGROUND OPENS FOR THE SEASON IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS OR WOULD LIKE TO HELP WHITH THE CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES SEE CLAUDIA OR LINDA As always, your input and participation are essential for the activities we offer and do throughout the season. We are open to all suggestions, and are willing to introduce new ideas; so if you have an idea or suggestion let us know. EVERY WEEKEND (MAY-OCT) HORSE SHOES, BASKET BALL, SOFT BALL, ARCADE, BIKING. The ball field is available for any group games, dodge ball, soccer, touch football, etc MAY 10th –any one wanting to sell unneeded items can set up outside fence and do a yard sale. MAY 18th—Tractor Pull @ Copake Park MAY 17th—weather permitting bon fire at the pit MAY 23-26 MEMORIAL WEEKEND—Linda’s annual egg hunt & other crafts and games will be offered. JUNE JUNE 7— 2pm Kids swap meet—have children trade off toys. Swap out the toy or toys they’ve outgrown or don’t use anymore with another child JUNE 7-- 7pm—adults get together for a few hrs. Of fun soft ball, volley ball, Bocce Ball JUNE 13- 15TH Grandparents weekend. Grandparents get a free camping weekend JUNE 14th 7:30pm Pot luck desert our favorite activity!! JUNE 20-22—COPAKE COMMUNITY DAYS many activities at Copake Park. JULY JULY 3-6 --INDEPENDENCE DAY WEEK-END -- crafts and games will be offered throughout the week-end at the craft camper –golf cart and bicycle parade on Friday. Decorate your wheels and join the parade 3pm JULY 11-12—Crafts at the craft camper JULY 16-19—CARNIVAL @ COPAKE PARK JULY 25-27—CHRISTMAS IN JULY— children will decorate tree Sat morning as mom and dad decorate your site prizes for top 3 sites pot luck dinner on Sat 7/26 at 6pm. Sites will be judged at dark 7/24-7/27—Falcon Ridge Festival AUGUST AUG 1-AUG-3 Adult comedy night share your humor with fellow campers AUG 3—Tractor Pull @ Copake Park AUG 9—Pool Party AUG 16—Pot Luck Dessert AUG 29—SEPT 1—LABOR DAY WEEK-END ADDITIONAL EVENTS WILL BE LISTED AS REQUESTS COME IN AND LOCALITIES POST THEIR EVENTS. |
